..ASSURES WATERTIGHT SECURITY, PROTECTION
Ahead of the Eid-el Fitri celebration across the country, the State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Ogun State Command, Commandant David Idowu Ojelabi, has ordered the deployment of 2, 055 personnel drafted from all tactical units in the State Command Headquarters, Abeokuta.
The State Commandant while addressing officers during a meeting held at the NSCDC Cooperative Building, Owu Dekudu Village, Off Kobape Road, Abeokuta, warned all Area Commanders, Divisional Officers, Heads of Special and Tactical teams across the State to brazen up for the occasion.
In a statement signed by the NSCDC Ogun State Public Relations Officer, Dyke Ogbonnaya,
Commandant Ojelabi further noted that all Eid praying grounds, black spots and other critical national assets and infrastructure should be adequately protected and secured during the course of the celebration.
In the same vein, the State Commandant has issued a standing order to all Area Commanders and Divisional Officers in respect of civilian protection across the State especially in the area of actionable and proactive intelligence during the course of the celebration across Ogun State.
“I celebrate all my Muslim brothers and sisters in our dear Ogun State and particularly, the Executive Governor, Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, on yet another successful Ramadan season and pray Almighty Allah (SWT) continues His protection and mercy on us all, Amen”, Commandant Ojelabi added.
