No fewer than 1,610 canvassers and All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates participated in the latest engagement of the Door-to-Door Team Yayi in Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State.
The engagement, held on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the Adeola Yayi Hall, Pavilion, Ilaro, brought together grassroots mobilisers from across the local government for strategic discussions, coordination and mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The large turnout underscored the growing grassroots structure of the Door-to-Door Team Yayi in Yewa South, as participants renewed their commitment to taking the message of the APC governorship candidate, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, to communities and households across the local government.
The canvassers received strategic direction on grassroots engagement and were urged to maintain effective coordination while strengthening their relationship with residents in their respective wards and communities.
They were also charged to remain united, disciplined and consistent in their outreach, with emphasis placed on direct engagement with voters and effective communication of the party’s programmes and candidates.

The engagement provided an avenue for the canvassers and APC candidates to interact, review their mobilisation efforts and strengthen the network ahead of the 2027 elections.
The enthusiasm displayed by participants, according to the organisers, reflected their readiness to sustain the door-to-door mobilisation campaign across Yewa South.
The Yewa South engagement is part of the ongoing Door-to-Door Team Yayi Canvassers’ Engagement Series, which is aimed at strengthening the team’s grassroots network across Ogun State.
The team said it would continue its engagements across communities as part of efforts to deepen grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.
