In a bid to ensure Smooth and Successful Celebration of the 2023 edition of the Annual Wakajeje, Organised by Ipokia Youth Forum, IPYF , had sought the Collaboration of the Nigeria Customs Service, Ogun state command, Idiroko.
The IPYF delegation was received by the Public Relations Officer, Ogun state Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, Hammed Oloyede.
The IPYF executive, led by its chairman, comrade Mawutin Imoleayo Deji represented by the Diaspora chairman, Comrade Olateju Aliu while addressing the representatives of the Nigeria Customs Service, at the Customs conference hall ,Idiroko border, explained that the 2023 edition of the wakajeje symposium will discussed “Danger of Smuggling and Petrol hoarding in Ipokia local government” where the youths and others residents will be enlightened on the need to embrace legitimate businesses with the hope that the present administration in country will listen to the yearnings of the people and address the increasing poverty rate in the land.
Comrade Olateju further stressed that the chosen theme requires the cooperation and collaboration of the Nigeria Customs Service Ogun state command, Idiroko, so as to nip it in the bud.
He however maintained that the two day event will be held on 1st and 2nd of October, 2023 and will as usual feature walk round through some parts of the local government and other programs as proposed.
On their parts, the Nigeria Customs Service, led by Officer Ogunesan CA Commended the IPYF for the initiative which has continued to stand the test of time , and there by promised them that the NCS will give them a positive response.

The 2023 Wakajeje will be attended by people of timber and calibres within and house the local government.
