The construction of the three-kilometre Magbon INEC Road, and its accompanying drainage, in Abeokuta South Local Government Area of Ogun State has been completed.
The project was facilitated by the Senator representing Ogun West and governorship candidate of the APC in Ogun State for the 2027 elections, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, YAYI CON FCA.
The road, which comes with comprehensive drainage system and asphalt paving, is expected to improve access for residents and motorists while addressing perennial flooding and drainage challenges along the corridor.
Residents of the area described the intervention as a major relief, noting that the road had been in deplorable condition and difficult to access, especially during the rainy season.
The Magbon INEC Road is one of several infrastructural interventions facilitated by Senator Adeola across Ogun State to enhance connectivity and boost socio-economic activities.
