ABEOKUTA: An Ogun state based Politician and Philanthropist,Chief Omokayode Anwojue has felicitates Muslims in the state and Nigeria at large for the sigthening of the moon signifying the commencement of the 2023 holy month of Ramadan.
Omokayode personally signed called on Muslim faithful to pray relentlessly during the fasting period as Allah has promised to answer all prayers and every other good deeds.
While urging the affluence to extend the hands of fellowship to the needy during and after Ramadan, He assured that he will continue to do everything within his capacity to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged in the society.
He also described Ramadan fasting as an integral part of the Pillars of Islam and Muslim globally are eager to witness the month which comes ones in a year.
He however canvassed for National prayer ,peaceful co existence among residents of Ogun state regardless of ethnic background.
He also admonished Islamic clerics and faithful alike to embrace and practice what Allah instructed Muslims to do and follow the path of the holy prophet Muhammad ( peace be unto him)
