It was a moment of immense pride and celebration for the Olisa of Imushin Kingdom, Remo Land, Sir Soji Onafowokan, and his family as his daughter, Miss Emmanulla Onafowokan, joined other graduands at the 29th and 30th Convocation Ceremonies of Lagos State University (LASU).
Emmanulla, described by her proud parents as a jewel of inestimable value, distinguished herself among her peers after successfully completing her academic programme in International Studies.
The young graduate’s journey through the university was marked by dedication, perseverance and determination, culminating in the much-anticipated convocation ceremony where she proudly received recognition as one of the institution’s graduating students of the 2026 academic session.

Her graduation is not only a personal achievement but also a significant milestone for the Onafowokan family, as it represents the fulfilment of years of sacrifice, encouragement, prayers and investment in her education and future.
For the Olisa of Imushin Kingdom, the occasion provided another reason to celebrate the accomplishments of his daughter, whose academic feat has brought joy and honour to the family and the Imushin community.
With her degree in International Studies, Emmanulla is now equipped to explore new opportunities and contribute meaningfully to society, particularly in areas relating to international relations, diplomacy, global affairs and other fields connected to her academic training.
As she closes one chapter of her educational journey and opens another, expectations are high that the young graduate will continue to uphold the values of discipline, excellence and service instilled in her by her family.
The achievement also comes with the responsibility of translating her academic knowledge into practical contributions to national development, as she prepares to answer the clarion call to national service and take on new challenges beyond the university environment.
Family members, friends and well-wishers have continued to celebrate Emmanulla’s accomplishment, describing the graduation as the beginning of greater opportunities and possibilities ahead.
For the Onafowokan family, the convocation is therefore more than a ceremony; it is a celebration of perseverance, family support and the reward of hard work.
Congratulations to Miss Emmanulla Onafowokan on this remarkable achievement. As she steps confidently into the next chapter of her life, may her journey be filled with purpose, fulfilment and even greater accomplishments.
Congratulations, Emmanulla! Welcome to a new chapter of purpose, possibilities and greater achievements.
