The Ogun Waterside All Progressives Congress (APC) Door-to-Door Campaign Team has appointed prominent party chieftain, Hon. Damilola Otubanjo, as its Matron as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The appointment letter was presented to Otubanjo on Monday at her office in Abeokuta by the team’s Patron, Alhaji Tunde Rufai, accompanied by the State Organising Secretary, Mr. Olabode Issac, the Women Leader, Mrs. Alimi, and the Ogun Waterside Door-to-Door Coordinator, Mr. Daniyan.
The campaign team said the appointment was in recognition of Otubanjo’s proven leadership, political experience, grassroots influence and unwavering commitment to the growth of the APC.
It noted that her contributions to party development and mobilisation over the years had earned her the confidence of party members across Ogun State.
Responding, Otubanjo expressed appreciation to the Ogun Waterside APC Door-to-Door Campaign Team for the honour, describing the appointment as a call to greater service.
She pledged to deploy her experience, leadership qualities and political expertise to strengthen the team’s mobilisation efforts and work towards ensuring the victory of the APC and its candidates in the 2027 general elections.
