The Ogun State chapter of the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) has congratulated Barrister Ogunwale Josiah Olugbeminiyi on his inauguration as the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ota Branch, describing his emergence as a testament to his integrity, competence and commitment to the legal profession.
Barrister Ogunwale, who also serves as the Legal Adviser to Ogun State JUSUN, was sworn in as the new Chairman of the NBA Ota Branch during the association’s Annual General Meeting, Swearing-in and Handover Ceremony held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.
Reacting to the development, the Chairman of Ogun State JUSUN, Comrade Lion Ajiboye Olanrewaju Tunji, said the union was delighted with Ogunwale’s emergence, noting that his election reflected the confidence reposed in him by members of the branch.
Ajiboye described the new NBA chairman as a seasoned legal practitioner whose dedication, professionalism and commitment to justice have earned him respect within the legal community and beyond.
He expressed confidence that Ogunwale would provide purposeful and exemplary leadership capable of advancing the ideals of the Nigerian Bar Association while promoting unity, professional excellence and the rule of law.
The JUSUN chairman further stated that the union was proud to identify with Ogunwale, given his invaluable contributions as the legal adviser to the state chapter, adding that his wealth of experience would be instrumental in steering the affairs of the Ota Branch.
On behalf of the leadership and members of Ogun State JUSUN, Ajiboye congratulated Barrister Ogunwale Josiah Olugbeminiyi on the well-deserved honour and prayed for divine wisdom, strength and a successful tenure as he assumes the mantle of leadership of the NBA Ota Branch.
