The Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ NTA Abeokuta Chapel heartily felicitates Veteran Journalist and Former General Manager NTA Ado Ekiti Pastor Segun Ojelade as he celebrates his Diamond Jubilee on 11th of April 2024.
The Chapel in a statement by the Chairman and Secretary Comrades Yemmy Dalemo and Luqman Adefeso joined the family, Professional Colleagues and well wishers of the seasoned broadcast Journalist to celebrate this milestone.
The chapel described Mr Ojelade who was a leader of the chapel until his retirement as a great leader who impacted the younger generation positively particularly his role in modeling young reporters to greatness.
“Segun Ojelade as fondly called during his career in NTA is a shining light and good Ambassador of the Chapel where he began his career and we are happy to be associated with him”
The duo of Segun Ojelade and Demolu Okuneye PhD started their Journalistic career in NTA Abeokuta Newsroom as reporters and rose through the ranks to attain the peak of their Profession before bowing out meritoriously after thirty five years.
“As you, mark your sixtieth birthday, it is our prayer that your days shall continually be filled with joy and excitement and may Almighty God grant you more favour and Strength to enjoy the beautiful years ahead”.
Mr Segun Ojelade served as the Officer in Charge of NTA Imeko, Ogun State before his transfer to NTA headquarters in Abuja after which he was redeployed to NTA Akure as the General Manager and later NTA Ado Ekiti where he retired meritoriously from active public service in January 2024.
