The annual public lecture instituted by the Abeokuta Branch of the Nigerian Society of Engineers in honour of the Late Engr Sina Egberongbe is scheduled to hold on Tuesday 2nd May, 2023 at Bolude Oyebolu Engineering Centre, Opposite OOPL, Oke mosan, Abeokuta by 10am.
In a Statement, the Chairman of the Planing Committee and Vice Chairman NSE Abeokuta, Engr. Olumayowa Idowu, said apart from honouring the memory of a distinguished engineer, technocrat, public administrator and great mentor, the Sina Egberongbe Lecture series aims to direct public focus to one of the many individuals in our country, who have made a significantly positive difference, through their selflessness and integrity, even in the midst of societal challenges.
The title of this year’s lecture is: Meaningful living in Selflessness, while the Guest Speaker will be Engr. Prince Yemisi Shyllon, FNSE.

Late Engr. Sina Egberongbe was a Federal Commissioner in the Federal Civil Service Commission (representing Ogun and Lagos States, 2006 -2011), former Ogun State Permanent Secretary and a past Chairman of NSE Abeokuta Branch. He died in the year 2013
