The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Abeokuta Branch, has felicitated its Christian members and the entire Christian community on the occasion of the Easter celebration, urging them to reflect on the virtues of sacrifice, love, and service.
In a statement signed by the Chairman, Engr. Olumayowa Ayodeji Idowu, FNSE, the Branch described Easter as a significant season symbolizing sacrifice, renewal, and hope, as exemplified by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The Chairman noted that the essence of Easter aligns closely with the core values of the Engineering profession, particularly commitment, selflessness, and dedication to societal development. He encouraged Engineers to embody these virtues in both their professional and personal lives by contributing meaningfully to nation-building and the advancement of humanity.
Engr. Idowu further urged members of the Society to remain steadfast, resilient, and committed to excellence, emphasizing that national development is largely driven by the sacrifices and contributions of professionals, especially engineers.
He concluded by wishing all Christian members a peaceful and fulfilling Easter celebration, praying that the season brings renewed strength, inspiration, and greater opportunities for impactful service.
