The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Ogun State Headquarters, Commandant David Idowu Ojelabi mni, monitored the Gubernatorial and State Houses of Assembly Elections in the State on Saturday, March 18, 2023.
With his team of tactical commanders drawn across: the Counter-terrorist Unit, Armed Squad, Female Squad, CNAI, CBRNE, amongst others maintained peace and stability across polling units, Registration Area Centres in and around Ogun State particularly, the Ogun East Area Command and major blackspots in Sagamu and its environs.
The team ensured that the INEC Staff, Ad-hoc Staff, voters amongst others had a free day and adequate protection in the State.
However, despite the minor challenges, the State Command and other services were able to whether the storm by giving the best security in the electioneering process.
