Former Councillorship Aspirant from ward 9, Abeokuta North Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Ogunkunle popularly known as Hadjour has expressed shock over the death of Alhaji Fatai Bodunrin , one of the leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Abeokuta North Local Government, Ogun State.
In a condolence message, personally signed by Hon. Ogunkunle and made available to newsmen in Abeokuta said that Late Alhaji Bodunrin was a great politician, a committed APC leader and generous grassroot person.
Hadjour added that the deceased, during his lifetime, was known to be very upright, always championing policies that will impact positively on the lives of the people of his community, and was a man of the people.
The deceased according to the statement played a pivotal roles on the successes recorded during the last election as a leader.
“I am saddened by the death of one of our political leaders in Abeokuta North Local Government APC, late Baba Bodunrin.
“His roles in building and sustaining the All Progressives Congress,APC in Ogun state , especially Abeokuta North Local cannot be overemphasized
“He was a committed, selfless and loyal politician” we have lost a rare gem in Abeokuta North and Ogun state at large.” He added
He therefore prayed to God to rest his soul well, forgive his shortcomings and grant him aljannah fridaus.
“On behalf of my family, my Political supporters both in Abeokuta North ward 9 and beyond, I expressed my condolences and commiserate with the Bodunrin’s family, Abeokuta North ,Ogun APC, and also the Ogun state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun Mfr.
Late Alhaji Bodunrin died at the age of 80years.
