The All Progressives Congress National Assembly Candidate for Yewa North Imeko Afon Federal Constituency, Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, GNI was unable to vote in the presidential and National Assembly elections as the BVAS failed to Verify him.
Arriving the polling unit 006 within the Premises of Baptist Primary School Imeko, in Imeko afon Local government at about 11:20 am, the candidate joined the queue and when it got to his turn to be accredited, The BVAS failed to Verify him after multiple attempt, GNI stepped aside for others to vote.
While addressing journalists, The APC candidate frowned at the situation, describing it as unfortunate.
The Situation no doubt denied him from voting in an election where he is a candidate.
Meanwhile the presidential and National Assembly elections in Imeko Afon Local Government area witnessed High number of Voters at various polling units.
The people however commended INEC for introducing the devices which contributed to the credibility of the elections.
