The Yayi Progressives Movement (YPM) has announced a new date for its Ogun-East Mega Rally, moving the programme from Wednesday, October 28, to Friday, October 30, 2026, while retaining the previously announced venue and time.
The political support group disclosed the change in a statement issued to journalists on Tuesday through its Media and Publicity Department, asking members, supporters and other stakeholders to adjust their schedules accordingly.
According to the movement, the rescheduling is intended to allow for further coordination and fine-tuning of arrangements to ensure the smooth and orderly conduct of the programme.
YPM regretted any inconvenience the change might cause and expressed appreciation to its members, supporters and stakeholders for their patience, understanding and continued cooperation.
The movement confirmed that the mega rally would commence at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 30, at the venue earlier announced.
It also stated that the solidarity trek ahead of the rally would begin at 7:00 a.m. at Mobalufon Under Bridge, Ijebu-Ode, with accreditation procedures to be conducted as part of the exercise.
Participants were advised to arrive early and cooperate with designated officials to facilitate an orderly process.
YPM reiterated its commitment to unity, coordination, mutual understanding and constructive engagement among its members and stakeholders, stressing the importance of working together towards the movement’s objectives.
The group urged all members, supporters and well-wishers to take note of the revised date and make the necessary adjustments to their plans.
The Ogun-East Mega Rally is part of the movement’s political mobilisation activities in support of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi.
