…admonishes Youths to be deeper in Evangelism

In a bid to win more souls for Christ, The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Ijemo-Agbadu Assembly, Abeokuta has organized a special gospel service with the theme, “Arise and bring them to me”.
The Abeokuta Area Evangelist who is also a District Pastor in the Apostolic Church Nigeria, Pastor Enoch Akintola while ministering at the special gospel service reiterated that the youths must play very crucial roles in evangelism because they still have the ability and strength to move from one location to the other, preaching the gospel and winning more souls for Christ.
He urged Christian youths to be more committed to spreading the gospel as that remains a mandate and reason for their creation.

Pastor Enoch noted that there are lots of lost souls out there in Abeokuta that needed to be won for Christ.
Speaking on the theme of the program “Arise and bring them to me” which was taken from the book of Mathew chapter 14 Verses 18 and 19, the clergy encouraged those who are still in sin to leave their sins and their sinful ways and stressed that there is a need for the saved to go out there and bring the unsaved to Christ.
According to him, “By the time Jesus wants to descend to his father in heaven he gave His followers this assignment, though some people think he gave this assignment only to his disciples, as the Bible directed that we should go and preach to others who are yet to accept Christ ,bring them to Christ, baptize them in the name of the father ,the son and holy spirit.

“The youths need to play numerous roles in evangelism, as they are still agile and strength to move from different locations to preach the gospel, all churches in Abeokuta need to organize this type of program, at least every last sunday or in every three months, because those who are still worshipping idols are still on the high side and we need to win their souls for Christ.
“Christ is expecting us to preach for them and bring them out of that position to the normal position”
He also emphasised that sharing of food items while winning souls for Christ has been the practice of Jesus Christ which the church emulated.

On his part, the Assembly Pastor of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Ijemo Agbadu, Abeokuta, Pastor Samuel Oderinde said that considering the increasing rate of moral decadence across the world, there is need to re awake people’s souls and let them know that Jesus is the only way, and it not talking about religion but about salvation.

“If we consider what is going on in the world today, there are lots of heresies going on in the world today, so many issues in the world that are not so in the beginning of the world, issues such as homo sexuality, lesbianism, ritual killings and other immoral acts which have made us enemies with God.
The Lord therefore placed it in the heart of the saints in the Apostolic Church Nigeria Ijemo Agbadu Assembly ,with the approval of Abeokuta area superintendent who also doubles as Abeokuta area metro chairman, Pastor Dr.T.A Agbeja to hold the evangelism program.
“Yesterday we went out on open air evangelism, won souls and that brings about the level of turn out today”
“The world is becoming full of moral decadence, so many homes are unsettled, this program is to bring succour, respite to the lives of the people and also win their souls for Christ. “People should know that Jesus is the only way, we are not talking about religion, we are talking about salvation.”He said.
The Former Head of Service in Ogun state who is also an elder in the church, Elder Sola Adeyemi and the Registrar, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Elder (Dr) Titus Adedeji Adeniyi who corroborated the ministers of God, charged youths to rise up and fufil the mandate of Christ given to all Christians which is evangelism.
