
In a heartwarming display of compassion and community support, the spouses of members of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Abeokuta Branch have donated essential items to the Juvenile Correction Home, Asero, under the Ogun State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.
The donation, which took place on Saturday 20th September 2025, was aimed at improving the welfare of the young residents of the facility. The items presented were carefully selected to address the daily needs of the children and included a variety of essentials such as food, toiletries, and personal care products.
Mrs. Oluronke Idowu, Chairman of the Spouses Forum, expressed her heartfelt appreciation during her speech, highlighting the importance of giving back to the community and ensuring that the young ones in the Juvenile Correction Home feel cared for and supported.
The Management of the Juvenile Correction Home also expressed their gratitude for the generous donation. In their remarks, they acknowledged the significant impact of such gestures in improving the living conditions of the children in their care, thanking the Spouses Forum of NSE Abeokuta for their unwavering support.
