The School of Science, Ogbomoso Alumni Association reaffirmed its commitment to promoting academic excellence and giving back to its alma mater during the school’s 2026 Valedictory Service, held on Tuesday, 28th July, 2026, at the school premises.
Representing the Alumni Association at the event were the President; Engr Abolaji O. Ilori, Ph.D, General Secretary; Tolu Olayiwola, Public Relations Officer II- Adeyemo Tobiloba and Treasurer- Joseph Oluwatosin, who joined the school in celebrating the achievements of the graduating students.

As part of its tradition of rewarding excellence, the Association presented awards to outstanding students in Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology across the graduating class as well as the SS1 and SS2 classes. The best graduating students in these subjects received cash prizes and award plaques in recognition of their exceptional academic performance.
A major highlight of the ceremony was the formal induction of the Class of 2026 into the School of Science Ogbomoso Alumni Association, officially welcoming them into a network of distinguished alumni committed to mentorship, service, and the continued development of the school.
The event also celebrated a remarkable academic milestone, as one of the graduating students recorded an impressive score of 333 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), further underscoring the school’s long-standing reputation for academic excellence.
Speaking on behalf of the Association, the Alumni President congratulated the graduating students on their achievements and encouraged them to uphold the values of integrity, discipline, and excellence for which the School of Science Ogbomoso is renowned. He also echoed that the Alunmi is ready to support the School to ensure that it remains too and the best in Ogbomoso and Oyo State in terms of quality Education delivery and also to make the School the first choice among her peers.
The School of Science Ogbomoso Alumni Association extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Class of 2026 and remains committed to supporting initiatives that foster academic excellence and contribute to the continued growth and development of the institution.
