As part of its social responsibility to the people, Brothers Across Nigeria International (BAN INT’L), Ceuta chapter, has paid the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) fees for four indigent students from Methodist High School, Arigbajo and United Secondary School, Wasimi of Ogun state.

The chapter chairman of the non-profit organization, Mr. Boluwatife Kuforiji noted that the exercise is part of its activities to boost educational development in its coverage areas.

While promising that the programme would be a continuous one, he advised the beneficiaries to see the gesture as an effort geared towards helping them to achieve their desire to get higher education.

“Brothers Across Nigeria International (BAN INT’L) believes that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and achieving a better future for individuals and society at large.”

“We are committed to creating a brighter future for all by promoting social and economic development in underprivileged areas of Nigeria, Africa, and the world at large” he explained

According to him, there is a need for relevant stakeholders in society to do their best in giving back to the people as he believes kindness to humanity is the ultimate assignment given to humans by our maker.

Principals of the schools, Mr. Ogunsola Olusegun of Methodist High School, Arigbajo, Mr. Ogundimu of United Comprehensive High School, Wasimi, as well as the beneficiaries heaped praises on BAN-INTL for the gesture while also calling on other well meaning Nigerians and groups to tow the same path.

The event concluded with a renewed call for action, urging the government and other stakeholders to intensify efforts in creating pathways for children and youths to realise their full potential.
