The Chairman of the Ogun State chapter of the Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle and Tricycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), Comrade Kayode Showunmi, has lauded the National President of the association, Alhaji Samsudeen Adebayo Apelogun, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a transformative leader whose legacy continues to inspire members nationwide.
In a statement personally signed and made available to journalists on Tuesday, Showunmi said the birthday celebration offers an opportunity to reflect on Apelogun’s remarkable contributions to the growth and unity of ACOMORAN across Nigeria.
According to him, the National President’s tenure has been defined by resilience, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of members, leading to significant structural strengthening and renewed confidence within the association.
“Beyond marking another year, today is a celebration of a leader whose vision has redefined purpose and progress within our great association. His dedication to advancing the interests of members remains commendable,” Showunmi stated.
The Ogun chairman further acknowledged Apelogun’s consistent support and fatherly guidance to the state chapter, noting that his leadership has continued to inspire excellence and commitment among members.
He described the celebrant as a symbol of hope and a bridge builder, whose influence is shaping the future of the association for generations to come.
Showunmi, however, prayed for the National President’s continued good health, longevity, and greater achievements, wishing him more impactful years in service to the association and the nation at large.
