…Mulls Collaboration With Organisations, Government ,Cooperate bodies.
Founder/CEO Rere Foundation for Progress and Development Barr Segun Adesanya has reiterated his NGO’S willingness to collaborate with professional bodies, Individuals, organisations, and associations in his quest to build the next generation of independent young people.
He stated this on Saturday, 15th July 2023 at the foundation’s 5th Anniversary, held at Itamarun Quarters, Ijebu-Imusin, Ijebu East LG, Ogun State.
The CEO, noted that the collaboration was part of a commitment to “build the Nigeria of our collective desire through the successful attainment of the goals embedded in our agenda as a non-governmental organization.”
According to him, “The need for youths to acquire vocational skills especially at this time cannot be over emphasized..that’s why it is one of our priorities at Rèrè Foundation” our Agenda is designed to transform Ijebu East into a Local government where young people can depend on themselves after their education and sustainable metropolis, with a focus on Youth development, Free Computer Training, Leadership training, care for the needy, skills acquisition, Legal aid, good governance, and sustainable social investment”.
He explained that the NGO represents the incorporation of an intensified focus on social inclusion, gender equality, entrepreneurship and youth development to ensure Rere Foundation remains a beacon of hope that provides a conducive environment for everyone to achieve their full potentials.
The Keynote Speaker Dr. Michael Dike, pointed out that education remains the most potent, and sustainable way of breaking the cycle of poverty as he commended Rere foundation for her commitment to helping as many as it can in their quest to be self employed and become employer of labour in Ijebu East local government and Ogun State.
The Chairman Board of trustees to the Foundation, Mr. Wale Adenaya said “It is important that individuals and organizations complement government’s effort by contributing their quota to easing the burdens of our people; we choose to do this through Rere Foundation”.
The philanthropist explained that the NGO was establish 5years ago and had supported many young people in skills acquisition and trainings noting that the foundation was initially a youth driven, youth focus organization but now widening the scope of its charitable works to accommodate more people with its flagship empowerment programs in Ijebu East LG and State.
“At Rere Foundation we strongly believe that our children’s aspiration should not be limited by economic conditions, that is why we continue to donate school uniform, Sandals etc to pupils and we hope to do more in years to come ” he said.
He further called on well meaning individuals and organizations to assist those in need, and expressed his organization’s commitment to supporting different groups.
He emphasize the importance of equipping young people with skills for employment, decent work, and entrepreneurship.
“Addressing the global concern of youth unemployment and limited access to education and training for their future careers requires a collective effort, this is one the reasons why we put in place Rere Vocational Centre and edu consults.”

When forcibly displaced, accessing quality education and work opportunities becomes incredibly difficult, often lasting for years. For a sustainable society, it’s crucial to equip young people with skills for employment, decent work and entrepreneurship.
In the face of such adversities, unity and collaboration becomes paramount. We must set aside our differences to embrace dialogue and work together to find a lasting solution.
