
The newly appointed Senior Legislative Aide (SLA), Oyejide Sunkanmi, popularly known as Suco has appreciated the Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Sen. Olamilekan Adeola Yayi, for facilitating his appointment to work with deputy senate President, Senator Baramu Jibrin.
Suco, in a letter tittled ‘Letter of Appreciation expressed gratitude to senator Yayi, describing the appointment as a life-changing opportunity and praised the Senator for his consistent commitment to youth empowerment and political mentorship.
According to him, Senator Yayi has continued to distinguish himself as a compassionate and visionary leader dedicated to grooming the next generation of leaders through deliberate mentorship and empowerment initiatives.
He further compared the senator’s leadership style to that of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that many young Nigerians now see hope and opportunity in public service because of leaders who believe in rewarding loyalty, dedication, and excellence.
Suco stated that the appointment reflects Senator Yayi’s confidence in young people and his determination to create opportunities for emerging political leaders in Ogun State and beyond.
The newly appointed aide also expressed confidence in Senator Yayi’s leadership capacity, saying the senator’s emergence as governor in 2027 would bring accelerated development to Ogun State in critical sectors such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, youth empowerment, economic growth, and human capital development.
While thanking the senator for the opportunity, Suco pledged to justify the confidence reposed in him and to serve diligently in his new role.
