
Olabisi Onabanjo University , OOU, Ago Iwoye students Union Government has launched her constitution (As Amended) at an event tagged: Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders: Forging a Path To progression attended by several stakeholders raging from Former senator, Traditional rulers,Vice Chancellor, Academic and Non Academic staff of the institution.
The Keynote speaker who is a former Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District Senator Sefiu Adegbenga Kaka, reiterated on the need to empower tomorrow’s cause they are the hope and the future of the country.
“It is pertinent that we empower Young leaders of tomorrow by equipping them with the tools and confidence to contribute meaningfully to society. When empowered, young leaders can drive positive change, inspire others, and create a ripple effect of progress. Moreover, investing in youth leadership development is an investment in the future of our communities” he added.
The Executive chairman Ijebu North local government, Hon. Bolaji Odusanya while speaking at the event says “The future of Nigerian students transcends the confines of certificates, resting upon their ability to leverage skills, ingenuity, and entrepreneurial fervour. Together, let us forge an educational ecosystem that nurtures holistic development, fostering a generation of empowered individuals poised to catalyze socio-economic transformation.
Let us seize this moment to empower our youth, to inspire them to dream big, and to equip them with the tools they need to shape their own destinies and build a brighter future for our beloved Nigeria”.
Bolaji Odusanya concluded by appreciating the leadership of the House of Senate for organising such an epochal event.
