The Ogun State Chairman of the Joint National Transport Safety Committee of Nigeria (JNTSCN), Olu Okeowo, has promised to prioritize the mass recruitment of youths into the newly established committee.
Olu Okeowo, who believes that the lack of opportunities for youths has led to negative social vices, stated that this has hindered the collective development of Ogun State and Nigeria.
Many youths have resorted to crime, illicit drugs, fraud, gambling, and prostitution, often engaging in acts that could jeopardize their future.
Hon. Olu Okeowo appreciates President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the privilege in supporting the initiative which creates employment opportunities and reduce traffic congestions in the country. He extends his appreciation to the National Chairman of JNTSCN, Hon. Mogbojuri Taiwo Damilare for his unwavering commitment and leadership prowess.
Emphasizing the need for collaboration between the private and public sectors to prevent a looming crisis, he made this known at his OPIC office following his appointment as the JNTSCN Chairman in Ogun State.
The President of Ocean Economy, Prince Olu Okeowo known for his humanitarian gesture and youth development with his unique ideology which resonates with mentoring and leading the youth to self dependence, job creation and sustainability as his mantra.
Olu Okeowo pledged to leverage his expertise and experience to bring relief to his community by creating employment opportunities through his office.
