The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ogun State Council will decorates the Decorate the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR CON as the Grand Patron of the Union at its Southwest Zonal Meeting which will attract delegates from Osun, Ondo, Oyo, Ekiti, Lagos and the host Ogun State.
In a statement signed by the Chairman and Secretary, NUJ, Ogun state council, Comrades Wale Olanrewaju and Bunmi Adigun, the Southwest Zonal meeting which will begin from Thursday, 8th through 10th of June, 2023 will also have a former Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Environment and Sports in Ogun State, Senator Lanre Tejuoso, Pro Chancellor and Chairman Governing Board of the University of Lagos deliver a lecture on ‘The Nigeria Health Sector : Challenges before the new Government’.
According to them” The two day event will also see Delegates tour major projects of the current administration in Ogun State such as the Agro Cargo Airport, Housing Projects, Road Infrastructure, Health Facility and many other landmark achievements of the Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration”.
“The thrust of the Zonal meeting is to cross fertilize ideas as the fourth estate of the realm and speak to power on what is needed to be done by the Southwestern Govenors as they begin another term.”
