
The Ogun State chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) is abuzz with excitement following the re-election of Alhaji Prince Adebayo Samsudeen Apelogun as the National President of the Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle, Tricycle Repairers and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN).
Fondly known as “Allrounder,” Apelogun secured a resounding victory for a second consecutive five-year term during the association’s National Congress held from the 23rd to the 25th of February 2024.
Apelogun’s re-election comes as a testament to his sterling leadership and remarkable achievements during his initial tenure.
The chairman of NUJ Comrade Wale Olanrewaju and Secretary of the Council Comrade Bunmi Adigun in a statement issued to newsmen on Monday said Apelogun having served as the Ogun State Chairman of ACOMORAN prior to his ascension to the national presidency in 2019, Apelogun has consistently demonstrated a commitment to advance the welfare and interests of motorcycle and tricycle riders, as well as engineers, across the nation.
