
The Ogun State chapter of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) has congratulated the newly appointed Head of Service, Olanrewaju Iskeel Saka, describing his emergence as a fitting reward for years of exemplary service, professionalism and commitment to the development of the state’s civil service.
In a statement issued by the state chairman of the union, Comrade (Lion) Ajiboye Olanrewaju Tunji, the union noted that Saka’s appointment was a reflection of his competence, diligence and wealth of administrative experience acquired over the years in public service.
According to JUSUN, the new Head of Service has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and a strong dedication to duty, particularly during his tenure as a Permanent Secretary, where he contributed significantly to the effective administration and smooth operation of government activities.
The union stated that Saka’s elevation to the top civil service position did not come as a surprise, citing his impressive track record, disciplined approach to governance and unwavering pursuit of excellence in service delivery.
“His appointment is a recognition of merit and years of devoted service to the growth and advancement of the Ogun State Civil Service,” the statement read.
JUSUN further expressed confidence in the capacity of the new Head of Service to strengthen the state’s workforce, improve efficiency across government establishments and sustain reforms aimed at enhancing productivity within the public sector.
The union added that Saka’s leadership would inspire civil servants across the state to uphold professionalism, integrity and dedication in the discharge of their responsibilities.
While commending the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun for entrusting the leadership of the civil service to a seasoned administrator, the union said it was optimistic that his tenure would usher in greater innovation and institutional growth.
The judiciary workers’ body also offered prayers for wisdom, sound health and divine guidance for the new Head of Service as he assumes the responsibility of coordinating the affairs of the state workforce.
JUSUN thereafter extended its congratulations to Saka, his family, associates and well-wishers, expressing hope that his tenure would be marked by remarkable achievements and lasting contributions to the development of Ogun State.
