An aspirant for the Ogun State House of Assembly, Olalekan Jiboku, has congratulated the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, Chief Yemi Sanusi, on his re-election to lead the party in the state.
He disclosed this during an interview with journalists in Abeokuta.
Jiboku, who is seeking to represent Abeokuta South Constituency II in the Ogun State House of Assembly, described Sanusi’s re-election as a clear demonstration of the confidence reposed in him by party members across the state.
Congratulating the APC chairman, Jiboku said, “Your re-election is a testament to your dedication, leadership capacity, and the trust that members of our great party have in your ability to continue steering the affairs of the APC in Ogun State toward greater success.”
He noted that Sanusi’s leadership has contributed significantly to strengthening the structure of the party, adding that unity within the APC has been reinforced under his watch.
“Your commitment to party unity, discipline and grassroots mobilization has remained commendable, and I believe your continued leadership will further consolidate the gains already recorded,” he said.
Jiboku further expressed optimism that the renewed mandate would help position the party for future political successes in the state.
“This renewed mandate is not only a victory for you but also for the entire APC family in Ogun State. It provides another opportunity to deepen our collective vision of progressive governance and effective party administration,” he added.
The assembly hopeful also reaffirmed his commitment to the ideals of the APC and the development of his constituency. “As an aspirant seeking to represent Abeokuta South Constituency II, I remain committed to the values of our party and to work with our leaders to ensure progress, unity and development for our people,” he said.
He therefore prayed for wisdom and strength for Sanusi as he begins another tenure as chairman. “I pray that God grants you the wisdom, strength and guidance required to continue leading our party to greater heights,”.
