
Men in the Western Nigeria Union Conference (WNUC) of Seventh-day Adventist Church, under the umbrella of the Adventist Men’s Organization (AMO), will converge on Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State between Wednesday, August 6th and Sunday August 10th, 2025 for their Convention.
The Convention tagged, Ogun 2025, with the theme: “Mission To Neighbors; I Will Go”, will be attended by men from across the Union including Lagos, Ogun, Oyo,Ondo, Osun, Ekiti, Kwara, Edo, Delta and Kogi States.
A statement signed by the Director of the Adventist Men’s Organization (AMO), Western Nigeria Union Conference, Elder Olusola Olayinka, has it that the convention will feature different lectures and seminars that will not only build up the spiritual life of the participants but empower them economically.

“Among the resource persons at the six-day event include the Group Managing Director of First Holdings PLC, Mr Wale Oyedeji who will be speaking on the topic, “Integrity still Pays in Market place” and the Group Managing Director, Meristem Securities Limited, Mr Sulaiman Adedokun whose lecture will focus on Other Streams Of Income”.
“Also, a highly accomplished Medical Doctor-turned farmer, Dr Adefunmilola Tolulope Williams-Daudu will deliver a lecture on “The Potentials in Agriculture”, to be complemented by the Managing Director of Agbeyewa Farms, Mr Oscar Ayeleso who will be speaking on “Cassava Revolution in Nigeria”. An accomplished Family Physician, Health and Public Administrator, Dr Olumide Obe will beam light on “Common Old age-related Ailments: Causes and Remedies”, with Pastor Maigadi Ibrahim delivering a lecture entitled, “Post-Retirement Years can be Prosperous”.
Equally in the line up, according to the statement, include a panel discussion on the topic: “Christian Education is still the Best; The stories of Babcock University, Adeleke University and Hillside University” featuring Professor Ademola Tayo, Professor Solomon A. Adebola and Professor Okoro Iheanyichukwu as well as a lecture on “Legal issues affecting the Church and Families”, to be delivered by a Senior Advocate Of Nigeria, Elder (Prof) Paul Ananaba.
“It is also expected that the Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Holdings Limited, Elder Adedeji Adeleke will deliver a lecture on Stewardship just as the WNUC Evangelist, Pastor Alabi Adewuyi will give a talk on Evangelism.”
Elder Olayinka explained that the convention will be historic as the newly elected President of West Central Africa Division (WAD), Pastor (Dr) Bassey Udoh is expected to grace the Convention where the President of the Western Nigeria Union Conference, Pastor Ezekiel Adeleye will lead other Men of God to feed the participants with the Word of God.
