The Nigeria Union of Journalists, OGBC Chapel has felicitated the re-elected Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ogun State Council, Comrade Wale Olanrewaju and his team for emerging victorious in the just concluded Council election.
A statement signed by the Chairman, OGBC Chapel, Comrade Chris Ogbu and the Assistant Secretary, Comrade Bayo Adegboyega, noted that the return of the Council Chairman, despite all odds, is an indication that members have implicit confidence in his administration.
“Your administration has given members a sense of belonging. There’s no better way to appreciate your open door policy than what members did on the day of the election by overwhelmingly voting for your team” , the statement adds.
The NUJ OGBC Chapel equally congratulates the Council Secretary, Comrade Bunmi Adigun, noting that his re-election did not come as a surprise, going by the meticulous way he performed his duties, especially bringing sanity to the NUJ Secretariat.
While celebrating the return of the Comrade Olanrewaju-led team at the helm of affairs in Ogun NUJ, the OGBC NUJ Chapel Chairman urged the Council Chairman and members of his team to continue to prioritize the welfare of members.
