The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation, OGBC Chapel, will on Thursday, December 18th, 2025, hold its Annual Lecture beginning from 10 AM
The lecture, themed: “The Media As
Agents For Propagating Government Policies And Economic Development”, will have the Chief Economic Adviser and Commissioner For Finance, Ogun State, Hon. Dapo Okubadejo presenting a Keynote Address on the topic, “Making Ogun A 16 Trillion Naira Economy: Roles of the Media”
A statement signed by the Chairman of the Chapel, Comrade Chris Ogbu and the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Comrade Abiodun Ogundipe has it that the programme will hold at the Iwe Iroyin Hall, NUJ Press Centre, Oke-Ilewo , Abeokuta, under the Chairmanship of The National President, Association Of Tourist Boat Operators Of Nigeria, Mr Tarzan Balogun, with the Ogun State Head Of Service, Mr Kehinde Onasanya as the Special Guest and the Olota of Ota, Oba (Prof) Adeyemi Obalanlege as the Royal Father of the day.
According to the statement, there will also be a lecture on the theme of the programme by a Media Scholar, Professor Dele Odunlanmi of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye.
