The Nigerian Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (NIEEE) on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 will hold an investiture ceremony for its 21st President, Engr. Felix O. Olu, FNIEEE at Emerald Hall, A – Class Event Centre, Along Kasshim Ibrahim Way, Maitama, Abuja by 11am.
In a press release signed by the Chairman of the Planing Committee, Engr. Adeyemi Kings, FNIEEE, FNSE the prestigious ceremony to welcome the 21st President of the Institute is expected to be Chaired by the Chairman Senate Services Committee, Senator Engr. Steve Karimi while the Director General of Energy Commission of Nigeria, Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi will be the Special Guest of Honour.
An Artificial Intelligence Expert, Engr. Professor Bourdilon Omijeh, FNIEEE would deliver the lecture on Security Situation In Nigeria: AI Technology to the Rescue at the event which will also feature the inauguration of the 2024 National Executives of the Institute.
Other important dignitaries expected at the event include President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Engr. Margaret Aina Oguntala, FNSE, Past President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, His Royal Highness, Engr. Otis Anyaeji, FNSE, FAEng, Federal House of Representative Member representing Kano Municipal, Kano State Hon. Engr. Sagir Koki, FNIEEE, the Elegbe of Egbe land , Kogi State, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ayodele Irukera among others.
