Singer Afeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, has arrived in Lagos to assist in the ongoing probe of the death of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka MohBad.
The singer revealed this in a tweet on Tuesday, adding that he’d also be meeting with the police.
He wrote, “I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole.
“I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail.”
Meanwhile, Lagos State Police Command says music star Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley is now in their custody.
According to the police he is to assist in the current investigations into the death of his ex-signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba popularly known as Mohbad who died last month.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin stated this via his X handle on Tuesday.
He wrote: “Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities.”
MohBad died on September 12 at age 27.
