Ipokia L.G Youth Forum (IPYF) TO Unveil Mural Paintings Against Drug Abuse, Cultism, Social Vices In Nine Schools

In line with its unwavering commitment to youth development, community building and fight against societal ills, Ipokia Local Government Youth Forum (IPYF) in conjunction with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Idiroko Command and the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Idiroko Area Command, has rolled out plans on a sensitization campaign and unveiling of mural paintings against Drug abuse, Cultism and Social Vices in nine (9) schools across Ipokia Local Government.

In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Wakajeje Season 7 Planning Committee, Comrade Adeyemi, Sulaimon Olusegun and the secretary, Comrade Awanu Pius, this year’s awareness, sensitization and unveiling of mural paintings against Drug Abuse, Cultism and Social Vices is themed: “BREAKING OUR SOCIETY FREE FROM DRUG ABUSE, CULTISM & SOCIAL VICES”

The statement added that the campaign will run for two (2) days of awareness, sensitization and unveiling of mural paintings across selected Nine (9) schools in Ipokia Local Government.


The event is also targeted at educating students and young people on the dangers of cultism, drug abuse and other social vices; while inspiring them to embrace positive values for a brighter future.

The schedule is as follows:

DAY 1: MONDAY, 29TH SEPTEMBER, 2025 (Meeting Point: Iyana-Ago by 7:00am)

Schools To Visit:
✔Ojumo High School, Ihunbo
✔Alari High School, Alaari
✔Iko Gateway Grammar School, Idiroko
✔Tayese Community Secondary School, Ibatefin.

DAY 2: TUESDAY, 30TH SEPTEMBER 2025 (Meeting Point: Agosasa Community Secondary School gate by 7:00am)

Schools To Visit:
✔Agosasa Community Secondary School, Agosasa
✔Community High School, Tube
✔District High School, Ipokia
✔The Apostolic School, Ipokia
✔UAMC Primary School, Ipokia.

Through this initiative, IPYF reiterates its dedication to protecting the younger generation from harmful influences while fostering a culture of discipline, responsibility and leadership.
We call on all stakeholders; parents, educators, community leaders and security agencies to support this noble cause and join hands with us in building a safe and prosperous Ipokia Local Government.
