The Special Adviser to the Chairman, Abeokuta North Local Government on community development and social welfare, Honourable Ibrahim Ogunkunle has described the laudable performances of his Boss, Honourable Oyegbola-sodipo and Hon Taiyelolu Egbeyemi, chairman and vice chairman abeokuta North within the last one year as outstanding and unprecedented.
Hadjour gave this commendation in a congratulatory message to felicitate the chairman on the successes recorded by “turning the tide” in the Local Government over the past twelve months.
Hadjour recalled how the abeokuta Local government helmsman turned things around for the council, staff, communities with projects accros the 16wards , while highlighting a series of initiatives that have reshaped life in the locality:
On Health, he mentioned Upgraded clinics and regular health outreach which has improved access to primary health care.
On Education, he talked about building and completion of new blocks classrooms and scholarship schemes that have lifted school enrollment.
Others achievements are Youth empowerments, Capacity building and provision of portable water to the people.
Honourable Ibraheem described the chairman as a “performer who gets things done,” noting that the chairman’s efforts have earned several regional awards, including the Best Local Government Initiative and Excellence in Public Service recognitions.
