…urges peaceful coexistence among Ogun Waterside LG residents.

The Executive Chairman, Ogun Waterside Local Government, Hon. Mudashir Abdul-Lateef Adekunle has congratulates Christian faithfuls in the Council Area, Ogun state and Nigeria at large on this year 2023 Easter Day Celebration.
He described Easter as a special celebration that serves as a reminder of the selfless love and sacrifices of th Lord Jesus Christ.
In a statement signed by the Head of Information, Education and Sports Department, Ogun waterside Local Government, Olanrewaju Daud Martins, added that the Chairman urged Christians to use the period to pray to God and seek for forgiveness especially during this trying time the country.
He therefore encouraged Nigerians to be hopeful believing that there is always light at the end of the tunnel while, noting the successes recorded at the end of the just concluded general elections in the country that ushered in His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the President-elect and the reelection of Prince Dapo Abiodun for second term in office.
The statement maintained that both were with renewed hope 2023 respectively.
The council boss also urged residents to remain calm, maintain the existing peaceful coexistence, exhibit love and practice selflessness as these are what Easter is all about.
“The chairman enjoined Christian faithfuls to celebrate with modesty and shun any act that can further jeopardize the relative peace in the Council Area and beyond.
“Hon. Mudashir further used the medium to appeal to the entire people of the Local Government Area to continually cooperate with the government by paying their taxes, levies, dues, licenses and rates as at when due so as to assist the Council Authority in meeting up with their electoral promises made during the electioneering campaign.”
He further reminded the people that his office doors are opened for constructive criticism as well as advises that will enrich the administration’s efforts towards taken the Local Government to an enviable height.
