As part of his unwavering commitment and support towards the electoral success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, Hon. Makinde Rasheed Lanre, and all APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections, Hon. Akhigbe Kolade John has donated 300 pressing irons and electric kettles as campaign materials to support grassroots mobilisation.
The donation was presented during his visit to Hon. Makinde Rasheed Lanre, reaffirming his commitment to the success of the APC and its candidates.
Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Akhigbe Kolade John stated that his visit and donation were driven by his loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, Hon. Makinde Rasheed Lanre, and his unwavering commitment to the success of all APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a humanitarian whose leadership and contributions to education have had a lasting impact on his life.

Hon. Kolade recalled that President Tinubu’s initiative of providing free WAEC examinations for students in public schools gave him the opportunity to obtain his Secondary School Leaving Certificate.
According to him, that act of generosity and commitment to education positively transformed his life and continues to inspire him to give back to society.
In furtherance of this commitment to education and community development, Hon. Akhigbe Kolade John pledged to procure 100 GCE forms for members of Kosofe Federal Constituency under the auspices of the Glace Crescent Foundation.
He noted that the free GCE forms distribution initiative began in 2020 as part of his modest contribution towards supporting government efforts, promoting education, and empowering members of his community.
Hon. Kolade further expressed his belief that the foresight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ongoing reforms is becoming increasingly evident. He acknowledged that reforms can sometimes be difficult and may require sacrifices in the short term, but stressed that attention must remain focused on their potential long-term benefits for Nigerians and future generations.
He described reforms as a “bitter pill to swallow” at times, noting that responsible leadership often requires difficult decisions today in order to secure a stronger and better tomorrow.
He therefore called on Nigerians to remain patriotic and supportive of policies designed to build a stronger, more prosperous, inclusive and sustainable Nigeria under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and APC led administration.
