Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has reappointed Dr. Oluwatoyin Emmanuel Taiwo as the Deputy Chief of Staff for another term of four years.
This was contained in a press statement by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information & Strategy Mr. Waheed Adeshina on Thursday, 8th June, 2023.
Dr. Oluwatoyin Emmanuel Taiwo who was born on 16th July, 1969 to the family of Elder Naoh Ademola Taiwo (JP) and late Deaconess Marian Abike Taiwo of Ifoyintedo, Ipokia Local Government, Ogun State holds B.Sc Statistics, MBA, M.Phil, Ph.Ds, FIIM, for MIDRI, NLC, AIDRI, MNIM, MCI Arb, M.NIIA.
He had his primary school education at St. George’s Primary School, Ikoyi Lagos, his secondary education at Victoria Island Secondary School Lagos State and then proceeded to study Statistics at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State.
He is a member of the following associations:

Taiwo was employed and and rose to the post of General Manager of BASH DISTINCT OIL Nig. Ltd. He is the CEO and Managing Director of NIKITEL International Limited and PEMMAN Oil Nigeria Limited. He’s also a lecturer at POMA International Business University up till date.
Dr. Taiwo has won several awards both nationally and internationally which include: Ambassadorial Award by International Human Rights and Peace Commission, Florida U.S.A, Winner of Aare Afe Babalola’s Prize in LAW OF EVIDENCE at Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Nigeria, Best Lecturer of the 2016/2017 Academic session by faculty of Art in conjunction with Press club, POMA International Business University, Outstanding Leadership Award by Brighter Education forum, to mention but few.
Dr. Taiwo is a philanthropist, a cheerful giver and a God fearing man. In his quest to continue his community services, he joined the All Progressive Congress (APC) in 2014 and contested for the House of Assembly in 2015. Based on popular demand, he was prevailed upon again by the people of his community to represent them at the Ogun State House of Assembly, he got the APC ticket in 2018.
Dr. Toyin Taiwo was appointed Honorable State Commissioner for Culture & Tourism in 2019, the Ministry won several wards before he was later upgraded to the post of Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR following the resignation of former Chief of Staff.
Dr. Taiwo is happily married with kids.
