…as Iwopin Ward Leaders Endorse Him

The Governor’s Liaison Officer in Ogun State, Hon. Wale Ajayi, has declared his intention to contest for a seat in the Ogun State House of Assembly to represent Ogun Waterside State Constituency.
Ajayi made the declaration at his hometown, Iwopin Ward 1, during a gathering attended by leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), traditional leaders, and community stakeholders.

At the event, APC leaders in Iwopin Ward, alongside traditional rulers including the Olorituns and Baales, publicly endorsed Ajayi’s aspiration, expressing confidence in his leadership qualities and his commitment to the development of Ogun Waterside Local Government Area.
Speaking during the declaration, Ajayi pledged to provide effective representation for the constituency if elected. He assured residents that he would champion policies and programmes that would promote development and address the needs of the people at the Ogun State House of Assembly.

The event also featured special prayers offered by Islamic clerics, Christian leaders, and traditional worshippers, including members of the Osugbo group in Iwopin, who prayed for the success of his aspiration and the continued peace and progress of the constituency.
Among dignitaries present at the gathering was the Assistant Treasurer of the APC in Ogun State, Alhaji Shakirulah Folorunsho, popularly known as Alhaji Agba, who assured Ajayi of his support.

Also in attendance was former Chairman of Ogun Waterside Local Government, Comrade Femi Onanuga, alongside other prominent party leaders and supporters who pledged their commitment to the success of Ajayi’s political ambition.
Supporters at the event described Ajayi’s declaration as a significant step toward strengthening representation and advancing development in Ogun Waterside.
