
Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has formally received the newly deployed Commissioner of Police, Bode Ojajuni, alongside his deputy, DCP Murtala Bolanle, at the Government House, Abeokuta, in a move that underscores renewed commitment to strengthening security across the state.
During the high-level meeting, the governor prayed for the team and assured the new police leadership of his administration’s unwavering support, stressing that security remains a top priority for Ogun State.
Abiodun noted that effective policing and sustained peace are critical to economic growth and social stability, pledging to collaborate closely with the police command to ensure the safety of residents and protection of lives and property.
The visit marks the formal commencement of strategic collaboration between the Ogun State Government and the new police leadership, signaling a coordinated approach to sustaining peace and security in the Gateway State.
