The Governor of Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun has Congratulated Comrade Olamide Lawal on his inauguration as the national President of the APCYL describing his new feat as a testament to his dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the advancement of Nigerian youths.
The Governor who stated this in a statement personally signed and entitled “Congratulations On Your Inauguration As National President Of All Progressives Congress (APC) Party Youth League” urged him to continue to uphold the standard which Ogun state is known for and be a good ambassador of the state.
According to the governor “I extend heartfelt congratulations on behalf of my family, the Government and the good People of Ogun State on your inauguration as the National President of the APC YouthLeague.
“Your election to this esteemed position is a testament to your dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the advancement of youth in our great nation. As my Special Assistant on Youth Development, your outstanding contributions have been pivotal in promoting youth development in our dear State.
“Your new role as the leader of the APC Youth League further underscores your ability to inspire and mobilize young people towards meaningful participation in the political process. Your vision and enthusiasm are exactly what our nation needs to harness the potential of our youth and steer them towards positive change.
“It is important to state that the APC Youth League plays a crucial role in advocating for good governance, building leadership capacity, and ensuring sustainable democracy in Nigeria. I am confident that under your leadership, the league will continue to make significant strides in achieving these noble objectives.

Hon.Olamide Lawal led executive took over the mantle of leadership of the all-important youth league of the ruling All Progressives Party from the immediate past National President, Comrade Atir Solomon Faeran at the event held in Abuja yesterday,July 27 , at the Federal Capital Exhibition Hall in Abuja which was attended by eminent personalities including Secretary to the Government Federation, Sen. George Akume,who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Hon Christopher Tarka,
It would be recalled that the new National Leader, Comrade Olamide Lawal was recently elected as President at the Congress held in Osogbo, Osun State capital.
The new National Leader of the APC Youth League, who is a Special Assistant to the Ogun state Governor on Youths, expressed gratitude towards his principal, Prince Dapo Abiodun, President Tinubu and all the leaders of the ruling party for according priority attention to the youth league which he described as “one of the pioneer youth support groups of the APC aimed at promoting youth participation in the political process, build leadership capacity among youths, and advocate for good governance and sustainable democracy in Nigeria.”
Comrade Lamide Lawal pledged to uphold the ideals of ensuring the empowerment of Nigerian youths and their holistic development via the instrumentality of the APCYL which according to him, “has a strong presence across the country, with national, zonal, and state structures, and its membership spans all 36 states and 774 local government areas, including the Federal Capital Territory.”
Comrade Lawal in his speech thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and assured Nigerian youths that his cabinet of National Executives of the youth league of the All Progressives Congress will not work collectively to deliver greater dividends of democracy to the youth constituency across the federation via continuous strategic engagements, dialogues and target youth empowerment outreaches.
