Former Governor of Ogun, Otunba Gbenga Danie who represents Ogun East as a Senator at the National Assembly will be presenting his stewardship at the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Ogun State Council programme tagged “DIALOGUE WITH JOURNALISTS” put together to hold public office holders accountable.
The program will engage the three senators and nine House of Representatives members from Ogun State in both the Green and Red Chambers, provide the public and their constituents with an opportunity to learn about the progress made by their elected representatives in the last 365 days.
The event, scheduled to take place between June 24th and 29th, is expected to serve as a meaningful platform for a better democracy, where National Assembly members are held accountable for their responsibilities, particularly to the journalists who play a crucial role as the watchdog of society.
Otunba Gbenga Daniel has chosen Tuesday, June 25th, at the Iwe Iroyin Press Center, Okeilewo, Abeokuta, at 10 am to present his account of stewardship.
OGD, as he is fondly called, previously served as governor of Ogun State from 2003 to 2011.
He is the owner of Kresta Laurel, an Electro-mechanical engineering company, he started in 1990.
He is also the founder of Conference Hotels with branches in Ijebu-Ode, Sagamu, Abeokuta, and Isheri, part of Lagos.
