The Coordinator of the City Boy Movement, Ogun West Senatorial District, Ayodeji Idowu, MNIM, CISA, CISM, PhD has congratulated the Senator representing Ogun West, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi, FCA, FCTI, CON, on the occasion of his 57th birthday.
Dr. Idowu described Senator Adeola as a leader whose representation has brought visible development and renewed confidence to the people of Ogun West, particularly through initiatives targeted at young people and human capital development.
He noted that Senator Yayi’s interventions in education, ICT training, vocational skills acquisition, scholarships and empowerment have created opportunities for thousands of young people to acquire skills, pursue education and become more economically independent. Among the interventions are ICT training programmes that have provided students with digital skills and personal laptops, as well as extensive vocational training and empowerment programmes designed to help beneficiaries establish sustainable livelihoods.
Dr. Idowu also highlighted the Senator’s extensive infrastructure interventions, including classrooms, ICT centres, roads, healthcare facilities and other community projects.
According to Dr. Idowu, “Yayi’s greatest strength is his understanding that development is not only about building roads and structures; it is also about investing in people, especially our young people, and giving them the tools to build their own future.”
He congratulated Senator Adeola, who also serves as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations and is the APC Governorship Candidate for Ogun State, praying that Almighty God grants him continued good health, wisdom and strength for greater service to Ogun State and Nigeria.
