The Chief Executive officer, Balkeem Nigeria Limited and Founder mobile Classroom, Akeem Salami and other Mapoly alumni which included Dr Adeyinka Adegbite popularly known as Ọmọ-Bàbá-Tíṣà, Mrs Doyin Kukoyi of Gbajumo Osere, Mr Adeola Yusuf a reputable journalist who specialises in Oil and Gas reporting bagged Made-in-Mapoly awards as Distinguished Entrepreneurs during the inaugural Made-in-Mapoly Distinguished Entrepreneurs Awards and Exhibition.
Akeem Salami ,a successful entrepreneur and philanthropist who has been well celebrated for his creativity in the development of the educational App,known as mobile classroom, Confam snacks, ijebulawa garri, igbokwenu garri, real estate investment and hospitality business was counted worthy for the award as result of his contribution to the Nigerian economy and being a good ambassador of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic where he studied Mass communication.

The Made-in-Mapoly Distinguished Entrepreneurs Awards has Dr. Hafiz Oyetoro as guest lecturer with the aims of promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic growth, aligning with MAPOLY’s mission to produce skilled and entrepreneurial graduates.
The Rector, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic , Dr. Adeoye Odedeji, Commended the award recipients for their dedication to entrepreneurship and job creation, adding that they have demonstrated exceptional leadership and innovations, inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs.

The event with theme; “Skills! Not just degree”, featured an exhibition showcasing products and services developed by MAPOLY students and alumni, highlighting the institution’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and self-employment.
Akeem Salami and other awardees appreciated the institution for the recognition saying it will spur them to do more.
