The Directorate of Social Communications, Catholic Diocese of Abeokuta has concluded plans to hold the Grand Finale of the 2025 World Communications Day celebration.
The World Communications Day with the theme “ Share with gentleness, the hope that is in your heart” will hold on Sunday, first of June at Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Cathedral, Itesi, Adatan Road, beginning with a thanksgiving Mass by 10am, followed by a Seminar at the Church hall.
A statement signed by the Director of Social Communications, Reverend Father Gregory Fadele hinted that the Catholic Bishop of Abeokuta Diocese, Most Reverend Dr. Peter Olukayode Odetoyinbo is the Chief Host while all Media Practitioners within Abeokuta and beyond are the celebrants of the day. Catholic faithful and members of the public are invited to come with their tools of work for blessings.
Heads of Media Organizations are the Special Guests of honour and all invitees are urged to be punctual for this annual celebration.
