Speaking on local government administration and grassroots development, the former councillor opened that with the supreme court’s ruling on local government autonomy in Nigeria, there is hope in sight for the delivery of dividends of democracy to the masses.
He highlighted parts of the developments to be expected from local government administration henceforth to include improved health care delivery, improved infrastructure, and qualitative and functional education, among others.
Hon. Akamo however urged those who find themselves at the helms of affairs of local government administration to ensure they do not fail the masses in the delivery of expected quality services for the masses.
