‎Adeleke, Pelican Valley CEO Charge Yorubas In S/Africa To Prioritize Development Of South Western Nigeria Through Investments

‎The Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has passionately appealed to Nigerians in South Africa, particularly those that of the yoruba extraction to join hands with the people and governments in the Southwest to develop the region through investments and remittances.
‎
‎
‎Senator Adeleke said that the role of Yoruba sons and daughters in South Africa in the shared progress of the region is critical, urging them to invest in Osun, adopt a school, support a hospital, sponsor a local initiative, or register their family members in the Osun Health Insurance Scheme to ensure access to quality healthcare.
‎
‎
‎The Governor’s call aligns with that of the Chief Executive Officer of Pelican Valley, Ambassador (Dr) Babatunde Adeyemo, who also harped on the need for the yorubas in South Africa to key into the viable opportunities back home in the real estate sector by investing in the Pelican Valley’s tech – driven innovative Smart Homes in Ogun State as their retirement back – ups.
‎
‎
‎Senator Adeleke and Ambassador Adeyemo spoke at the weekend in Pretoria, the capital of South Africa while making separate appeals during the celebration of the 7th edition of the annual Heritage Day of the Association of Yorubas in Diaspora South Africa (AYIDSA), where Dr. Olusola Agbeniyi is the President.
‎
‎AYIDSA is a registered association of Nigerian professionals of Yoruba extraction residing in South Africa. It uses the annual Heritage Day to promote brotherhood, nation-building and preserve its cultural heritage as an ethnic nationality in Nigeria.
‎
‎
‎
‎Adeleke who chaired the event that had in attendance, the Royal Father of the day and Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Owoade, said that the remittances, ideas, and partnerships of Osun indigenes in South Africa were vital to the developmental trajectory of the state.
‎
‎
‎According to him, Osun State on his watch is experiencing a renewed momentum of progress in virtually all sectors.
‎
‎
‎Also speaking, Ambassador (Dr) Babatunde Adeyemo, who is the Chief CEO of Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited, a Nigeria – based reputable real estate development and investment company, commended the association and members for their vital role in the growth and development of Nigeria back home, saying they will continue to earn his respect.
‎
‎
‎
‎According to the real estate entrepreneur, their achievements on many fronts are a testament to the resilience, industry, ingenuity and determination that define the Yoruba ethnic group as a people not just in SA but also in the United Kingdom where he had earlier delivered a thought-provoking presentation on the same opportunities inherent in the Nigeria’s real estate investment landscape during the prestigious ‘Avenue Impact (AVI) Winter Ball’ event in the UK.
‎
‎
‎He recalled that after the event, no fewer than seven AVI members bought about 50 plots of Pelican Valley lands at the rate of N4.5m per plot, appreciating within a short time as the same plot is today sold for a whopping sum of N15m per plot.

‎The development, he noted, had prompted the organisation to extend to him further invitation to the UK for another real estate business session in December this year.
‎
‎
‎He expressed his appreciation to the AYIDSA and its executives for organizing the historic Heritage Day and the opportunity given to him to be part of the celebration, expressing his readiness to work together and forge an enduring partnership between the association and the Pelican Valley.
‎
‎He highlighted the selling points of Pelican Valley’s brand of real estate projects, the viability, the seamless payment arrangements and why Nigerians in diaspora should not allow the unique opportunity to pass by.
‎
‎He said, “Our flagship which is the Ecostay Apartments began as an extension of Pelican Brief Estate. It is more than just a place to live. The apartments are a statement of intent and deliberateness. We have incorporated cutting-edge eco-friendly technologies, sustainable materials and innovative design principles to minimise our carbon footprint. In fact, every detail has been carefully considered to create a truly befitting eco-friendly environment.
‎
‎”Let me specifically highlight some of the salient features to treasure at the Pelican’s Ecostay Apartments. Our Estate, which has a full government approved- layout and building approvals, is also fortified with armed security guards. It is provided with energised 33 KVA/500 KV public power, equipped with 90 percent industrial solar street lights and paved with interlocked roads.
‎
‎”Our unique residential project also has provisions for a purpose-built lounge, bar and mini club; basketball, lawn tennis, badminton courts, worship centers, as well as swimming pool. a mini zoo where camels, peacocks and other delightful animals are equally on display. The Estate has a close proximity to our Greenish Acres Farm, where organic and fresh meals are processed. Above all, Pelican’s Ecostay Apartments is easily accessible less than 20 minutes drive to the Abeokuta Central Business District, the new train station and also, we are just a 50 minutes drive, to the Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja, Lagos.
‎
‎”It is also important for me to note that our housing repayment plan offers a zero percent interest rate, with no variations or hidden charges. However, default charges may be incurred if payments are not made as scheduled. But let me assure our clients that they will enjoy more and have access to a range of other exclusive amenities.
‎
‎
‎”This is the right opportunity for our brothers and sisters in diaspora to pick interest in our real estate products and invest in any of them. Our products have high return on investment (ROI) We started selling Pelican valley estate, Laderin for as low as N1m few years ago, today, a plot at Pelican valley is N40m…four years ago, Pelican’s brief Estate, Kobape hit the market with jus 780k but today, a plot at Pelican Brief is N15m.
‎
‎”We have been in the business for 10 years officially and we have no record of any negative case or review. We have never been involved in unethical practices and we have never been in court for any litigation. We have not been to the police station too. To crown it all, God has really delivered the project for us, including the recent launch of the Ecostay Apartments.”
‎
‎The keynote speaker, Dr. Jane Mufamadi, from the country’s Department of Sports, Arts and Culture, who spoke on the celebration topic titled, ‘Unity through Culture: Advancing Communities, Driving Development,’ lauded ÀYIDSA for creating not only a home away from home for its members , but also a bridge between continents and a symbol of cultural pride as well as a beacon of unity.

‎Dr.Mufamadi said the AYIDSA reminds SA of the support of Nigeria during her country’s liberation struggle, recalling Nigeria lobbied for the effective expulsion of South Africa from the Commonwealth in 1961 and even provided direct financial aid to the ANC from the early 1960s.
‎
‎
‎She also commended the association for fostering fellowship among Yoruba sons and daughters in South Africa and building a vibrant community grounded in identity, pride, and purpose.
