The Chairman of Abeokuta North Local government, Honourable Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo has sworn in the newly appointed supervising councillors and Special Advisers, which included Honourable Ibraheem ogunkunle popularly known as Hadjour at an event held at the Abeokuta North Local government secretariat, Akomoje , Abeokuta,Ogun State.
The chairman charged the new appointees to ensure that their impacts are felt in the governance of Abeokuta North Local government as the representative of the people.
He charged them to be up and doing, be a loyal party man and support the current administration in the state and local government in ensuring that people at the grassroots enjoy the dividends of democracy.
Party leaders present at the event, which included, The state organizing secretary of APC , Ogun State, Hon. Yemi Adelani popularly known as Igwe enjoined the new appointees to be loyal to the local government chairman and also write their names in the good book of life.
Honourable Hadjour who was cheered by his ward 9 Abeokuta North leaders and members as well as supporters adorned in uniform (asoebi) appreciated the Ogun State Governor , Prince Dapo Abiodun, Abeokuta North Local Government Chairman, Party Leaders in the state, Local government and ward level, for the recognition and honour to serve them through the appointment.
He however assured that he will not let them down and will continue to be loyal to the chairman and discharge his duties diligently.
