The Public Relations Officer, Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, Mr Babatunde Akinbiyi said the vehicles involved are :CNG Truck, Nissan Micra, Honda CRV, Nissan Almera and Nissan Almera (Space Wagon).

He said the rescue teams at the scene were TRACE operatives, FRSC,men from Federal and State Fire Services and policemen.

“The only person who died in the explosion was the motor boy accompanying the CNG truck.”

He said the deceased’s remains had been deposited in the morgue at the State Hospital at Ijaiye in Abeokuta.

Akinbiyi added that traffic along the route was diverted to other alternative routes.

Meanwhile, latest report indicated that the FRSC had linked the accident to brake failure on the part of the CNG gas truck.
