The Ogun State Chapter of the CityBoy Movement has congratulated Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, on his 57th birthday, describing him as a distinguished public servant and influential political leader whose contributions have impacted Ogun West and the state at large.
In a statement signed by Dr Adegboyega Abdulateef Sulaimon, The director City boy movement Ogun state, the movement commended Senator Adeola’s legislative interventions and developmental initiatives across Ogun West.
The group highlighted his contributions to infrastructure, education, healthcare, empowerment and human capital development, saying the initiatives had improved the welfare of constituents and strengthened grassroots development.
It also noted Senator Adeola’s strategic role as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, saying the position had enabled him to contribute meaningfully to national development and the implementation of government priorities.
According to the CityBoy Movement, Senator Adeola’s emergence as a strong voice in Ogun State politics reflects his political courage, grassroots connection and commitment to public service.
The movement further expressed confidence in his leadership capacity, noting that his legislative experience, political exposure and understanding of the aspirations of the people had positioned him for greater responsibilities.
On his aspiration to become the next Governor of Ogun State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the group pledged its continued support and mobilisation for his ambition.
The statement said the CityBoy Movement would continue to work at the grassroots and across the state to promote progressive leadership and mobilise support for Senator Adeola’s vision for Ogun State.
“We believe that with his experience, legislative exposure, developmental record and understanding of the aspirations of our people, Senator Yayi possesses the capacity to provide purposeful and transformative leadership for Ogun State,” the group said.
The movement prayed for renewed strength, wisdom, sound health and greater grace for the senator as he continues his service to Ogun State and Nigeria.
It wished Senator Adeola greater accomplishments in the years ahead and reaffirmed its commitment to his political journey.
